Life doesnt always follow a fixed schedule. Thats why we created the Security Officer Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income gain hands-on experience or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader.

As a Security Officer in Maple Heights OH this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $28.00 / Hour

08:30 AM - 05:30 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and staff by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an armed post at a financial institution.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner using sound judgment and following site protocols for reporting and escalation.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility surrounding grounds parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points observe customer and employee activity and document unusual conditions disturbances and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Support opening closing and high-traffic operational periods with a visible presence attention to security-related concerns and timely communication with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 1 years of law enforcement experience OR 2 years of security supervisor/manager experience OR 3 years of security experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
