Armed Security Officer (Temporary Assignment) – Kendall Area.

Location: Kendall Area (Miami-Dade County).

Position Type: Temporary. (One Week of Service) Monday-Friday 1p-9p

Schedule: Evening Shifts.

Pay Rate: $22.00/hour.

Job Summary:

Security Management Inc. (SMI) is seeking a highly skilled and alert Armed Security Officer for a temporary assignment at a wire transfer facility in the Kendall area. This is a hands-on position that requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to work closely with the client to ensure a safe and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide armed security presence at a high-traffic wire transfer location. 
• Monitor customer flow and maintain order within the premises.
• Work directly with the client to support daily operations and security needs. 
• Identify and respond to suspicious activity or potential security risks. 
• Ensure all customers and visitors follow site procedures. 
• Maintain clear, accurate reports of incidents and daily activity. 
• Assist in keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently. 
• Deliver excellent customer service while enforcing security protocols.

Requirements:

• Valid Florida Class D and Class G Security Licenses (required). 
• Must possess own firearm and holster (required). 
• Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Ability to manage high-traffic environments and stay composed under pressure. 
• Basic computer skills (reporting, monitoring systems, client interaction). 
• Professional appearance and demeanor. 
• Reliable transportation.
  
   

Preferred (Not Required):

• Bilingual (English/Spanish). 
• Prior experience in armed security or financial institution security. 
• Leadership qualities and the ability to take initiative.
  
   

Work Environment:

• Indoor position at a wire transfer/payment location. 
• Fast-paced, customer-facing environment. 
• Requires standing for extended periods. 
• Close coordination with client staff and management.
