Job Title: Associate Network Security Engineer

Job Type: Contract
Job Overview: - Design, implement, and maintain enterprise firewall solutions across global environments.
- Manage and support firewall platforms including Fortinet, Cisco, and Juniper technologies.
- Utilize centralized tools for configuration, automation, and reporting of firewall environments.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation for firewall policy management and deployments.
- Build automation solutions using scripting and DevOps tools.
- Support deployment and management of virtual firewalls in cloud environments.
- Assist with integration of advanced networking technologies and future network enhancements.
- Perform monitoring, troubleshooting, incident response, and vulnerability assessments.
- Manage system upgrades, patches, and operational maintenance tasks.
- Participate in on-call support rotation and resolve network and security incidents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including cybersecurity, cloud, and application teams.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures.
Requirement/Must Have: - 5+ years of experience in network security engineering or operations.
- Strong expertise in enterprise firewall technologies.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
- Experience with VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAT, DNS, and authentication technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience: - Experience with Fortinet firewall platforms and management tools.
- Experience with Cisco and Juniper firewall technologies.
- Experience supporting cloud environments such as AWS and Azure.
- Experience in monitoring and incident response.
Responsibilities: - Manage and optimize firewall and security infrastructure.
- Develop automation solutions for network security operations.
- Support cloud-based security deployments.
- Collaborate with teams to deliver secure and scalable solutions.
- Maintain operational excellence and system reliability.
Should Have: - Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Python, and CI/CD tools.
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices.
- Experience with monitoring and analytics tools.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Industry certifications in networking or security preferred.
Skills: Strong scripting and automation skills, Advanced networking and security knowledge, Analytical and problem-solving abilities, Effective communication and collaboration skills, Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Qualification And Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred. Relevant certifications in network security or cloud technologies are a plus.
