Job Description

Busy Bee Media Co. is growing, and we’re looking for a creative, trend-savvy Content Creator + Video Editor to join our team.

This is a remote, flexible independent contractor position perfect for someone who lives and breathes social media, loves storytelling, understands internet culture/trends, and can create engaging content across multiple industries and audiences.

Our current clients include:

• Healthcare & skilled nursing facilities
• Country music artists and entertainment brands
• Faith-based nonprofit organizations

We’re a creative, collaborative team who genuinely love what we do, and we’re looking for someone who will fit naturally into that environment while bringing fresh ideas to the table.

What You’ll Do

• Edit engaging short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
• Brainstorm and pitch creative content ideas tailored to different brands and audiences
• Stay on top of social media trends, viral formats, trending audio, and platform updates
• Create content from scratch using provided footage, stock footage, graphics, captions, and storytelling techniques
• Help develop creative campaigns and social strategies
• Repurpose long-form content into short-form social clips
• Assist with caption ideas, hooks, pacing, transitions, and overall engagement strategy
• Collaborate remotely with our team on content planning and creative direction
• Occasionally help organize content calendars and creative concepts

Who We’re Looking For

You might be a great fit if you:

• Are obsessed with social media and content creation
• Have strong editing skills and understand pacing, storytelling, and retention
• Know what performs well on TikTok/Reels/Shorts
• Can adapt your editing style to fit different brands and industries
• Are proactive and bring ideas without needing constant direction
• Understand aesthetics, branding, and online culture
• Are reliable, communicative, and self-motivated
• Can manage your own schedule and deadlines
• Have experience creating your own content or growing social pages

Bonus Points If You:

• Have experience in music, lifestyle, healthcare, nonprofit, or creator brands
• Shoot your own content/vlogs
• Have graphic design experience
• Understand current country music and pop culture trends
• Are comfortable using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Canva, etc.
• Have experience creating viral or high-performing content

Compensation

Starting at $20–$30/hour depending on experience, portfolio, creativity, and skill level.
