We are seeking a Cyber Security Architect to join our team. This role will involve enterprise security architecture governance, cybersecurity risk assessment, cloud and hybrid security strategy, Zero Trust implementation guidance, and executive security advisory support. The ideal candidate will have experience in enterprise cybersecurity architecture, IAM, PAM, SOC, SIEM, cloud security, governance frameworks, and risk-based security design, along with a passion for securing modern enterprise environments.

Job Description

The Cyber Security Architect will define, govern, and safeguard enterprise-wide cybersecurity architecture across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. The Cyber Security Architect will provide strategic architectural guidance, governance oversight, and risk-based recommendations to ensure security controls are consistently designed and aligned with business objectives. The Cyber Security Architect will focus on architecture design, security assessments, governance frameworks, and executive advisory support rather than operational execution. This Cyber Security Architect opportunity is ideal for professionals with strong enterprise security architecture expertise, risk management capabilities, and executive stakeholder communication skills. The Cyber Security Architect will play a critical role in advancing Zero Trust principles, regulatory alignment, and secure-by-design initiatives across enterprise environments.

Role Summary

The Cyber Security Architect is responsible for defining, governing, and safeguarding enterprise security architecture across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments. This role provides architectural authority, strategic guidance, and risk-based recommendations to ensure cybersecurity controls are consistently designed, compliant, and aligned with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and operating models.

This is a pure architecture and advisory role focused on design, assessment, governance, and decision support, not operational execution.

Security Architecture & Strategy
  • Assess and document current-state cybersecurity architecture across IAM, PAM, EDR, SOC, SIEM, vulnerability management, GRC, cloud security, and network segmentation controls - 8-10+ years required
  • Define, maintain, and evolve target-state and transition security architectures aligned with enterprise operating models and compliance requirements - 8-10+ years required
  • Act as the primary architectural authority for cybersecurity design and governance - 8-10+ years required
  • Ensure security controls are implemented consistently without overlaps or gaps - 8-10+ years required
  • Support Zero Trust and Secure-by-Design implementation strategies - 8+ years required
Risk Identification & Advisory
  • Identify architectural and systemic risks related to MSP tool ownership, SOC continuity, and control-plane dependencies - 8+ years required
  • Review security configurations conceptually for design correctness, logical data flows, and architectural integrity - 8+ years required
  • Identify and prioritize high-risk architectural gaps including privileged access exposure, segmentation gaps, endpoint weaknesses, audit gaps, protocol mismatches, and hybrid cloud risks - 8+ years required
  • Provide executive-level risk assessments and architectural recommendations - 8+ years required
Design Principles & Governance
  • Define and maintain enterprise security architecture standards, principles, and reference architectures - 8+ years required
  • Ensure alignment between cybersecurity architecture, compliance requirements, risk tolerance, and budget constraints - 8+ years required
  • Support governance frameworks and enterprise-wide security architecture decision-making - 8+ years required
Leadership & Stakeholder Support
  • Support executive leadership with architecture alternatives, risk trade-off analysis, and cost-benefit recommendations - 8+ years required
  • Coordinate with security vendors and third-party providers on architecture alignment, license usage monitoring, and compliance oversight - 8+ years required
  • Communicate complex architectural concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders - 8+ years required
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, compliance, and security operations teams to ensure enterprise alignment - 8+ years required
Required Skills & Experience
  • Strong experience in enterprise security architecture across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments - 8-10+ years required
  • Deep understanding of IAM, PAM, SOC, SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, and cloud security architecture - 8+ years required
  • Proven expertise in risk-based security design and executive cybersecurity advisory services - 8+ years required

  • Strong knowledge of Zero Trust, defense-in-depth, and regulatory compliance frameworks - 8+ years required
