Location: Southern Kansas City Metropolitan Area
Schedule: Monday – Friday (Optional Saturdays)
Pay Rate: $25–$30/hour
Employment Type: Full-Time

Overview

The Patch Boys of Kansas City is seeking a skilled and reliable Drywall Repair Technician to join our growing team. This role focuses on residential drywall repair, installation, and finishing, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality results and excellent customer service.

Our technicians work directly in customers’ homes, so professionalism, cleanliness, and strong communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Hang, install, patch, repair, and finish drywall
• Match and apply various textures seamlessly
• Perform painting and finishing work after repairs
• Maintain a clean and professional job site
• Communicate clearly with homeowners and ensure satisfaction
• Transport tools and materials to job sites
• Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards

Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of drywall experience (hanging, patching, finishing, and repair)
• Ability to match textures and complete paint finishing
• Own hand tools, power tools, and drywall equipment
• Reliable truck or van capable of transporting materials
• Clean driving record
• Comfortable with background check and drug screening
• Availability Monday through Friday (some Saturdays optional)
• Strong professionalism, appearance, and cleanliness

Nice to Have:

• Trim work experience
• General remodeling experience
• Advanced knowledge of texture application
