Specifically, you will

  • Use software for automated circuit analysis in support of schematic-level FMEAs.
  • Analyze the system-level effects of single-event upsets and latch-ups.
  • Support reliability engineers to understand electrical operating conditions and derive failure rates.
  • Perform electrical stress analysis and component derating analysis on individual components.
  • Work closely with design engineers, to ensure the BMS hardware meets Archer’s safety, accuracy, and reliability requirements.

What You Need:

  • BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience designing, modeling, or analyzing mixed-signal electrical circuits.
  • Experienced in circuit simulation tools such as LTSpice.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and troubleshooting skills.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience with high voltage systems or battery electronics.
  • Experience with electronics in regulated industries (e.g., aviation, medical devices).
  • Experience with DO-160G, DO-254, ISO 26262, or related standards.
  • Experienced in Altium Designer or a similar design tool.
  • Familiarity with Functional Hazard Assessment (FHA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and Failure Modes, Effects, and Diagnostic Analysis (FMEDA).
