Our client is seeking an Environmental / Air Compliance Engineer to support environmental compliance programs within a large industrial manufacturing operation in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This role focuses on air permitting, regulatory reporting, and environmental program management to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting industrial or manufacturing facilities and a strong understanding of environmental compliance programs including air permitting, emissions reporting, and environmental management systems. Support environmental compliance programs related to air permitting, emissions tracking, and regulatory reporting. Assist with Title V permit compliance, emissions inventories, and regulatory reporting requirements including NESHAP and related environmental programs. Monitor and evaluate pollution control equipment to ensure environmental compliance and operational effectiveness. Conduct facility inspections and environmental audits to identify compliance risks and improvement opportunities. Maintain environmental records and regulatory reporting systems. Work closely with plant operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to evaluate environmental impacts of operational changes and process improvements. Support ISO 14001 environmental management system activities including documentation, root cause investigations, and corrective actions. Provide guidance and training to plant personnel regarding environmental compliance and regulatory obligations. Support sustainability initiatives including waste reduction efforts, environmental performance tracking, and corporate environmental reporting. Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field. EIT certification preferred or the ability to obtain. Three to eight years of experience supporting environmental compliance programs in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Experience with air permitting, emissions inventories, and environmental regulatory reporting programs. Familiarity with Title V permits, NESHAP programs, and environmental compliance requirements. Experience using environmental reporting platforms such as CDX, STEERS, or similar regulatory systems. Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with plant operations, engineering, and maintenance teams. Environmental compliance and regulatory reporting.
