$15 to $18/Hour PLUS UNCAPPED BONUSES

Role Overview and Key Responsibilities

The door-to-door appointment setter is responsible for canvassing selected neighborhoods and engaging with potential clients to schedule appointments for sales representatives. This role requires strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to handle rejection professionally. Appointment setters must be comfortable walking for extended periods and interacting face-to-face with people in various communities. Generating 2-3 qualified appointments daily while driving brand awareness in the community.

Preferred qualifications include:

Previous experience in sales or customer service, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently. Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule are often required for this position.

** Hourly pay is discretionary based on experience agreed upon with manager before hire**

  Key responsibilities include:

  • Knocking on doors and introducing the company’s products or services to prospective customers, with the goal of scheduling an in-home estimate for a company representative to come out within 24 to 48 hours.
  • Explaining the benefits and answering basic questions to generate interest.
  • Scheduling appointments for sales representatives to follow up and close deals.
  • Recording contact information and appointment details accurately, using company software provided.
  • Meeting daily and weekly targets for successful appointment conversions to full presentations.
  • Follow up on all CTS (call to set) cancellations, and unconfirmed. Only follow up with appointments that have been run if instructed by Director of canvassing.
  • Providing feedback to the van manager or Director of Canvassing regarding customer responses, complaints and potential leads.
  • Always maintain professional demeaner with customers and co-workers.
  • De-escalate customer complaints by walking away, calmly informing the customer that you will inform your manager and informing management immediately.
  • Be on time and ready, to include proper attire, fully charged cell, or tablet devices.

Requirements

Canvass assigned residential areas to introduce the company’s window products and services

Engage homeowners in a friendly, professional, and informative manner

Generate and set qualified appointments for in-home consultations

Accurately record customer information and appointment details

Meet or exceed daily and weekly performance goals

Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times

Follow company guidelines, scripts, and compliance requirements

Provide feedback to management regarding customer responses and field conditions

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to climb stairs and walk door-to-door for several hours per shift

Schedule

  • Up to 30 hours per week
  • Evening and weekend availability may be required
