Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $19.00 per hour
The Role
We are looking for a reliable, high-energy Forklift Operator / Material Handler to join our team in Ridgeland. This isn't just a "sit-and-drive" job; we need a versatile team player who has the drive to manage inventory, assist installers, and keep our warehouse operations running smoothly.
You’ll be the backbone of our daily workflow, handling high-end flooring materials (tile, carpet, etc.) and ensuring our customers and installers get exactly what they need, when they need it.
Requirements
- Physical Ability: Must be able to comfortably lift and carry 50–70 lbs regularly.
- Experience: Proven experience with sit-down propane forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
- Gear: Steel-toe boots are required at all times on the warehouse floor.
- Reliability: You must have reliable transportation to our Ridgeland facility and a consistent "show up and kill it" attitude.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to read order sheets and check in freight with high accuracy.

Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate a sit-down propane forklift and electric pallet jack to move heavy flooring materials.
- Order Picking: Accurately pull orders for tile, carpet, and hardwood, ensuring quality control for every pick.
- Logistics & Receiving: Check in delivery trucks and assist installers with loading/unloading their daily materials.
- General Warehouse Support: Step off the lift to help with manual labor, organize stock, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
- Independence: Manage your daily tasks with minimal supervision, taking initiative to solve problems as they arise.
The essential functions of this role include:
