Title: Hybrid Software Engineer II (ERP / Nextworld Platform Developer)
Pay Rate: $45.00 $53.00/hour
Employment Type: Contract (W2 through Tekberry)
Assignment Duration: thru August 2026 (potential extension or conversion)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday Friday
Work Arrangement: Hybrid - approximately 2 3 days onsite weekly

Overview

Tekberry is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Software Engineer II ERP Platform Developer to support our client, a leader in automotive technology and dealership management systems. This position supports the DMS+ engineering team and focuses on ERP platform configuration, customization, and integration , specifically within the Nextworld enterprise platform.

Important:
This is not a traditional backend development role. The position centers on enterprise business application development and ERP configuration rather than pure .NET application coding.

Position Summary

The Software Engineer II will design, configure, and enhance enterprise ERP solutions that support dealership operational workflows. The role works closely with product teams, architects, and business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into scalable platform solutions.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working at the intersection of technology and business operations , supporting enterprise processes such as inventory, sales, service, finance, and customer workflows.

Responsibilities
  • Configure, customize, and support applications within the Nextworld ERP platform

  • Translate business requirements into technical ERP solutions and workflows

  • Implement integrations between ERP systems and other enterprise applications

  • Support enterprise data models, workflows, and automation processes

  • Troubleshoot platform issues, defects, and performance problems

  • Participate in solution design discussions and technical reviews

  • Collaborate with product owners, analysts, and architects

  • Assist with system testing, validation, and deployment

  • Maintain technical documentation and configuration standards

  • Support reporting, system optimization, and ongoing platform enhancements

Required Qualifications
  • 1 3 years of experience in ERP development, business systems development, or enterprise applications

  • Experience working with enterprise software platforms (ERP, CRM, or DMS systems)

  • Experience supporting system integrations and API connectivity

  • Understanding of business workflows, data structures, and system configurations

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

  • Ability to work onsite in Draper, UT approximately 2 3 days per week

  • Authorized to work in the United States (USC/GC required)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience with Nextworld ERP platform

  • Experience with dealership management systems (DMS)

  • Experience with NetSuite, SAP, Salesforce, CDK Global, Reynolds & Reynolds, or Dealertrack

  • Experience supporting enterprise operations systems

  • Exposure to workflow automation, reporting, or integrations

  • Familiarity with structured development processes and version control
