Costas Law Firm, LLC (Independence, OH) – in need of an immigration paralegal
Passion, grit, and drive are what it takes to make it in the field of immigration law. This is especially true in today’s climate. We are searching for a candidate who is ready to dive into this field.
Our law firm is located just 10 minutes from Downtown Cleveland. With 3 full-time attorneys, we offer an intimate work environment where our paralegals have the opportunity to gain invaluable experience working directly with clients in preparing applications to be filed with USCIS, Immigration Courts, and the Department of State. We handle many humanitarian-based applications such as Asylum, U-visa, VAWA petitions, as well as family-based and employment-based green card applications, citizenship applications, and removal defense in Immigration Court. The work can be tough, but the reward of being able to help our clients is priceless.
As a majority of our clientele are Spanish-speakers, a candidate who is bilingual in Spanish and English would be preferred, but is not required.
This is a fast-paced environment with a high case load. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and driven, resourceful , detail-oriented, and very organized , with a passion for immigration law and helping others, and who thrives on working under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
