Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our maintenance team. This role is responsible for repairing and maintaining the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery, specifically within a packaging environment. Requirements and Qualifications ✅
- Education: High School Diploma.
- Professional Experience: * Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a packaging area.
- Proven experience repairing industrial pharmaceutical equipment.
- Technical Expertise:
- Expertise in reading mechanical diagrams, blueprints, and schematic drawings.
- Experience with AC/DC motors, PLC electronic systems, and machinery installations.
- Knowledge of pumps, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic systems, as well as welding.
- Operational Skills: Experience operating a forklift.
- Language: (English and Spanish).
- Attributes: Ability to work independently or within a team, with a positive attitude toward learning and adapting to change.
Physical Requirements & Work Conditions ⚠️
- Physical Demands: Frequently standing, bending, and lifting.
- High-Level Access: Use of ladders and climbing high ladders (more than 10 feet) to the roof for maintenance of air conditioning systems and humidifiers.
- Safety Hazards: Exposure to electric circuits of up to 480 volts.
- Environment: Frequent exposure to dust and noise within the production area.
salary: $56,160 - $60,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Machinery Maintenance: Repair and maintain industrial production and processing machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operating condition.
- Electrical Duties: Perform minor electrical tasks, including voltage checks, continuity checks, and the replacement of broken electrical parts.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Troubleshoot, disassemble, and repair conveyor belts, bearings, and electrical motors.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform and document scheduled preventive maintenance for all machinery and equipment.
- Assembly: Assemble machinery and equipment using hand and pneumatic power tools.
- Component Replacement: Disassemble, repair, and replace broken or malfunctioning components as needed.
- Inventory Support: Request necessary parts or electrical components for machinery repairs.
The essential functions of this role include:
