Pediatric/General Dentist – Immediate Coverage

We are seeking a board-certified General or Pediatric Dentist with a strong background in pediatrics to support a growing, modern practice. This role involves managing a high-volume patient flow while providing exceptional restorative and preventative care to a predominantly pediatric and special needs patient population.

Position Highlights

• Specialized Care: Must be comfortable working with special needs patients (primarily pediatrics, with some adult special needs).

• High-Volume Environment: Manage 30–35 patients per day across 3–4 columns (including 2 hygiene columns for consults and one operative column).

• Supportive Environment: Comprehensive support staff assists with charting; however, precise reviewing for insurance accuracy is a key responsibility.

• Procedures: Focus on restorative and preventative dentistry. While hygienists typically handle cleanings, the dentist may assist during slower periods.

Schedule & Requirements

• Upcoming Dates: April 2nd and potentially April 9th.

• May Recurring Schedule:
  
  
  • Mondays: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (with lunch)

  • Fridays: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (straight through)

  • Saturdays: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM

• Clinical Skills: Proficiency in Nitrous Oxide is required. Experience with oral sedation is a plus.

• Licensure: Active Maryland (MD) Dental License required.

• Certification: Board Certified in General or Pediatric Dentistry.
