Job Description
A facility in Charlotte, NC is looking for a Procurement/Logistics/Inventory Specialist looking to interview candidates ASAP. This role is fast paced and demanding. This company is growing quickly and willing to train for upward progression. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. This role will operate off the 1st shift schedule Monday-Friday.
salary: $49,000 - $50,000 per year

Responsibilities
Purchasing & Vendor Management - Order Processing: Manage purchase orders for foreign (e.g., Saurer Spinning/Twisting) and domestic vendors, including material spec reviews.
- Expediting: Monitor open orders and expedite shipments to meet production or customer needs.
- Financial Accuracy: Review vendor invoices for pricing accuracy; resolve discrepancies before approval.
- Pricing Strategy: Use SECOS tools to verify pricing for new or stagnant items; identify and submit price adjustments to the Parts Manager.
Inventory & Logistics - Receiving Coordination: Build containers in Sage; prepare receiving docs, stock labels, and back-order lists for warehouse staff.
- Inventory Control: Maintain bin locations and stock records; resolve discrepancies related to shipments and perform weekly maintenance.
- Order Fulfillment: Manage back-order allocations and process customer cancellations.
- System Integrity: Maintain part substitution logic (linkage/comments) and manage the removal of obsolete inventory based on analytical reports.
Returns & Documentation - RAFs & Credits: Issue Return Authorization Forms and process approved credit memos.
- Audit & Reporting: Conduct monthly reviews of uninvoiced shipping orders and generate inventory spreadsheets for management.
