PLC Programmer | Grandville, MI

Salary Range: $68,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement PLC programs for automated manufacturing systems.
• Develop and configure HMI/SCADA applications for operator interface and data acquisition.
• Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of PLC-controlled equipment and processes.
• Participate in the commissioning, startup, and validation of new machinery and production lines.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for PLC programs, electrical schematics, and control systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to optimize control processes and resolve issues.
• Ensure all programming adheres to industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA development.
• Demonstrated ability to design, develop, test, and commission automated control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for industrial machinery and control system issues.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP).
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial automation environment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with HMI/SCADA design and development.
• Proficiency in integrating PLCs with robotic systems.
• Familiarity with industrial data acquisition and database integration (e.g., SQL).
• Experience with industrial vision systems.
