Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential buildings across NYC. This role combines in-office operations with regular site visits and requires strong administrative, communication, and compliance skills. Proficiency in Yardi Voyager is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and track maintenance requests via Yardi; coordinate with superintendents and porters
• Improve operational workflows and document procedures for consistency and accountability
• Conduct regular property inspections (6–8 per month) and align fieldwork with organizational goals
• Transition compliance tasks (e.g., DHCR violations) to electronic, trackable formats
• Support tenant and staff relations, including training and issue resolution
• Assist with drafting internal policies and standard operating procedures

Qualifications :

• Required: Proficiency in Yardi Voyager and Microsoft Office
• Preferred: Experience with pre-war buildings and DHCR compliance
• Strong communication, organizational, and follow-up skills
• Comfortable working in both office and field environments; ability to travel throughout NYC
• Vehicle ownership is a plus
