Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Salesforce Developer to design, build, and deliver scalable solutions across the Salesforce platform, with a strong focus on Public Sector Solutions and OmniStudio. This role is ideal for a hands-on developer with deep technical expertise, a solid understanding of Salesforce best practices, and experience working in fast-paced, Agile environments.

This is a remote role; however, candidates must reside in the DC, Maryland, or Virginia (DMV) area to support occasional in-person client and team engagements.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contract requirements

  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance

  • Must reside in the DC, Maryland, or Virginia (DMV) area

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with demonstrated project success

  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security framework

  • Hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and integrations

  • Experience working in Agile development environments using tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a distributed, cross-functional team

Required Certifications

  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I

  • Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Developer or Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Consultant

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Platform Developer II certification

  • Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder certification

  • Experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD workflows

  • Familiarity with Experience Cloud development and digital experiences

  • Prior experience supporting government or public sector clients

  • Willingness to maintain existing certifications and obtain additional Salesforce certifications as needed

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable, high-quality Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and OmniStudio

  • Build and configure OmniStudio components, including FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures

  • Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to translate business requirements and user stories into technical solutions

  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support

  • Develop and optimize custom Salesforce functionality using Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, asynchronous processes, and REST/SOAP APIs

  • Extend and manage the Salesforce data model through custom objects, fields, relationships, and metadata

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, unit tests, and reusable components

  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to Salesforce development best practices and secure coding standards

  • Support data migration and system integrations, including data mapping, transformation, and troubleshooting

  • Assist with deployment planning and execution using source control and CI/CD pipelines
