Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a busy port and transportation location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas access points parking areas buildings and perimeter zones with attention to varying weather traffic and working conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity verify authorized access as directed by site policies and help to deter unauthorized persons and/or prohibited behavior through visible presence and professional interaction.
• Support day-to-day port operations by observing for hazards policy violations and/or maintenance concerns then communicating findings through appropriate reporting channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
