The HR Intern supports the Human Resources department in delivering excellent service to applicants, employees, and visitors. This internship provides valuable hands-on experience in various areas of Human employee records, and general office support.

Essential Functions

• Support the HR Generalist with processes ·
• Help maintain accurate and organized employee records and files ·
• Provide front-office support, and greeting visitors ·
• Assist with preparing HR documents, spreadsheets, and presentations ·
• Help promote company policies and positive workplace culture ·
• Perform data entry and assist with HRIS system tasks ·
• Support various HR projects and administrative duties as assigned ·
• Document activities and maintain records in a timely manner ·
• Act as a reliable team player with strong communication skills

Physical Demands

• Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods while working at a desk
• Frequent use of hands for typing, filing, and computer work
• Occasional standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds (office supplies, files, etc.)
• Must be able to work in a typical office environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong interest in Human Resources and eagerness to learn
• Basic to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Positive attitude, strong customer service orientation, and good interpersonal skills
• Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Previous office or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
