Systems Engineer - Aerospace and Defense

A Systems Engineer is needed for a leading edge aerospace company. The primary responsibility of this person is in the development of Integrated Avionics, Payload, Motor Controls, and Solid State Recorders.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Overseeing technical design, implementation, or delivery of projects, processes, or programs using technical skills acquired through advanced education or equivalent work experience.

Selling technical products and leading post-sale product installations/configurations including preparing and conducting technical sales briefings for customers

Leading post-sale product configuration and designing custom solutions in accordance with customer specifications

Conducting technical user training and product briefings with customers.

Research, design, and development activities to improve the organization's products and services; designing, constructing, testing, and operating equipment

Ensuring that standards of quality, cost, safety, reliability, timeliness, and performance are met in production processes

Interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications; developing and testing theories on the properties of materials and ingredients under various conditions; and scientific research or quality testing in a laboratory environment.

Required Software: MS Office

Required Experience:

5-10 years related systems engineering experience and related technical professional experience.

5-10 years experience with Integrated Avionics

5-10 years experience in a client facing customer focused role.

5-10 years experience selling technical products and leading post-sale product installations or configurations.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other related engineering degrees

Position: Direct Hire

Travel: 5% domestic and international required

Employment Criteria: This position includes access or potential access to ITAR technical data. Therefore, candidates will need to qualify as a US Person which is defined as a US Citizen, a Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/foreign government/foreign governmental agency or organization, or a political asylee in compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations.
