Job Description

Our client, a leading Technology company, is seeking a talented UX Designer to join their creative team in New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing user-friendly, engaging digital products that enhance the user experience. As a UX Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers to create intuitive interfaces and improve overall usability.

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and testing designs to ensure usability and effectiveness. The position demands a deep understanding of design principles as well as a passion for problem-solving and innovation in the tech space.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows to illustrate design concepts
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to refine designs
  • Conduct usability testing to evaluate designs and iterate based on user feedback
  • Maintain design documentation and style guides for consistency
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in UX design

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in UX design or a related role
  • Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design projects
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Experience with usability testing and user research methods
