Job Description

Company:

Marsh

Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in New York . This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

In a studio-model, product-led agile team, you’ll collaborate with product managers, engineers and SMEs to rapidly explore, prototype and validate ideas—using AI-assisted design tools to produce high‑quality prototypes and drive concepts from discovery into MVP and scaled delivery. You’ll test assumptions, de‑risk complexity, and balance client value, business impact and technical feasibility while sharing work early, inviting critique, and making evidence‑based decisions. You’ll also have access to senior decision‑makers and a culture that supports continuous learning, rapid experimentation, and purposeful delivery.

We will count on you to:

  • Own design of features and end‑to‑end journeys across complex digital products and drive experimentation and optimization across onboarding, engagement, and renewal.

  • Translate research insights, quantitative data, and product requirements into intuitive, high‑quality user experiences.

  • Lead rapid prototyping and concept exploration—including AI‑assisted tools—and produce high‑fidelity prototypes and detailed specifications to support delivery.

  • Plan and conduct usability testing and synthesize findings to iterate on designs and validate solutions.

  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and subject‑matter experts to define scope, assess feasibility, and align on delivery.

  • Present design decisions and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders, influencing strategic discussions and prioritization.

  • Contribute to the evolution and governance of design systems, shared patterns, and reusable components.

  • Facilitate workshops and working sessions to build shared understanding and mentor junior designers, fostering a strong design culture.

What you need to have:

  • 3+ years of professional UX/UI experience designing digital products, with demonstrated end‑to‑end ownership of features and user journeys.

  • Experienced in planning, conducting, and synthesizing user research and usability testing to inform and iterate on designs.

  • Strong collaborator with engineers and cross‑functional teams during implementation; proven contributor to design systems and component libraries.

  • Portfolio showcasing clear design rationale, strong visual craft, interaction details, and measurable impact on product outcomes.

What makes you stand out:

  • Strong desire to learn and develop new skills and areas of expertise, coupled with a mindset of continuous improvement.

  • Self‑starter who takes initiative, works independently, and proactively seeks opportunities to add value.

  • Remains calm under pressure and adapts flexibly to changing priorities and work demands.

Why join our team:

  • We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.

  • We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have an impact on colleagues, clients and communities.

  • Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.
