job summary:
Reputable and growing organization is looking to hire (direct hire) a Maintenance Manager in the Beaumont, Texas area. Bachelor's degree is required.
This opportunity comes with a very competitive compensation plan commensurate with experience with a base salary ranging from $130k to $140k plus an annual bonus that can range from 10% to 20%. Relocation assistance is available.
The ideal candidate will possess experience with proactive vs reactionary maintenance programs, preventative & predictive maintenance, excellent mechanical aptitude, PSM (Process Safety Management), CMMS and a track record of solid leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

responsibilities:
-Prioritizes health & safety by adhering to policies, processes and maintaining safe practices at all times
-Utilizes leadership skills to promote a safe and collaborative work environment for all team members
-Oversees housekeeping activities for the plant, ensuring organization and promoting excellence
-Implements spare parts organization and a robust spare parts tracking system
-Partners with the maintenance team to ensure the appropriate mechanical and electrical skill sets are developed or acquired
-Develops improvement processes to reduce cost and improve plant operating efficiency
Education:
-Bacherlor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering required
Experience:
-10 years of manufacturing/industrial experience
-5 years of maintenance supervision experience
-Experience utilizing CMMS
-Experience with reliability excellence and preventative/predictive systems
Competencies:
-Ability to manage multiple tasks
-Excellent problem resolution, judgment and decision making skills
