Job Description
Are you an experienced Medical Scribe in Family Practice seeking a new position with an outstanding practice? We are looking for a skilled and experienced Medical Scribe to assist with patient rounds and transcribing notes. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills and a passion for healthcare. This candidate must have experience in Primary Care, ER, Internal Medicine or Urgent Care as a Medical Scribe. ***MUST HAVE EPIC EXPERIENCE*** Please let us know if you are interested in this opportunity.
salary: $47,840 - $49,920 per year

Responsibilities
- Accompany the physician into the patient examination room to accurately transcribe the patient's history, physical exam findings, and all aspects of the patient encounter.
- Procedural Documentation: Accurately log any in-office clinical procedures performed during the appointment.
- Document all clinical information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, including History of Present Illness (HPI), Review of Systems (ROS), Physical Exam (PE), diagnostic test results, and Assessment & Plan.
- Transcribe patient orders, including laboratory tests, radiology studies, and medications, as directed by the physician.
- Document the dictated patient history, physical examination, family, social, and past medical histories
- Assist physician
- Workflow Optimization: Support the clinical team with various administrative tasks to improve overall office throughput and patient experience.
- Scribes must document their signature (name and title) along with a date and time stamp within the medical record
- Scribes accompany the provider upon patient interview and examination
- Taking notes during patient visits and documenting them in the electronic health records system
- Completing all administrative tasks efficiently
- Working with a supervising Physician to complete and submit medical records
