Job Description

Victory Ranch located in Kamas, UT is seeking a dedicated and organized Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our culinary operations by providing essential support to our chefs and kitchen staff. You will be responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean work environment, and helping to create an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

- Prepare and measure ingredients accurately according to recipes and specifications.

- Clean, peel, and chop vegetables and fruits, and portion out meats and other proteins.

- Set up workstations with required ingredients and cooking equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas.
- Assist in the receiving and storage of kitchen supplies and food deliveries.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe and sanitary kitchen.
- Work efficiently to support the team during peak service hours.
- Assist with basic cooking tasks, such as grilling, frying, and steaming, as needed.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team.
- Assist in monthly inventory checks and stock assessments.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training is a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
