Part-Time Prep Cook / Dishwasher / Porter Hybrid Position (Bakery)

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and detail-oriented team member to join our bakery as a Prep Cook/ Dishwasher / Porter. Dishwasher/Porter responsibilities would be Friday only, and prep responsibilities on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Schedule:
Friday (dishwasher/porter), Saturday (prep), Sunday (prep), Monday (prep)
(Part-time | approximately 25–35 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support bakers and kitchen staff with basic food preparation and prep tasks as needed
• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, baking trays, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, storage, and front-of-house areas throughout the day
• Take out trash and recycling, ensuring waste areas remain clean and orderly
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and storing deliveries
• Assist with general kitchen upkeep and end-of-day cleaning procedures
• Help maintain an efficient, clean, and well-organized work environment
• Uphold all food safety and sanitation standards at all times

Qualifications:

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Previous kitchen, dishwashing, porter, or food prep experience required
• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
• Able to follow instructions and maintain consistency in daily tasks
